Council Operations Meeting

The Council Operations Meeting has the following objectives:

  • Provide coordination between district and council operations
  • Foster cohesive and effective council operating committees
  • Increase the opportunity for district members & council members to participate in developing our council objectives & strategies

Meeting Schedule

  • When: 2nd Tuesday of Each Month, with the exceptions of January, June, July
  • Location: Council Service Center
  • 5:45pm to 6:00pm – Dinner & Fellowship – Buffet available
  • 6:00pm to 7:00pm
    • Muskoke District Committee / Commissioner Meeting
    • Menawa District Committee / Commissioner Meeting
    • Executive Board Meeting or Executive Committee Meeting
  • 7:00pm to 7:30pm General Session
    • Includes all committees
  • 7:30pm to 8:00pm Breakout Sessions
    • Program Committee: Activities, Training, Camping, Advancement
    • Key 3 Group: Council President, District Chairs, Commissioners, Fundraising, Membership

Please note that if you are running late, just grab a plate of food from the buffet and join your meeting.  If you chair a committee (such as activities, training, camping, advancement, membership, fund development) and can’t attend a meeting, please ask one of your committee members to represent you.

This meeting plan is the result of considerable discussion among council & district leadership.  We recognize the plan will cause schedule conflicts for some members.  We apologize and sincerely hope schedules can be worked out as we move towards our achieving our Scouting mission.
